It all started when chef Cici Voise grew up in the south west of France. Inspired by her italian heritage, the kitchen was the room she spent the most time in. Her nonno (grand pa) was her biggest influence as she saw him carefully growing his own vegetables and passionately cook a little feast for them two every single day. “He had such a love for the simple pleasures.” He prided himself for his long lived life attributing it to healthy eating and quality of ingredients. “Eating pasta was just an everyday thing and the whole ritual around mealtime was always exciting” she recalls.

Only when she adopted a fully plant based diet did she realize the comfort of cheeses and cream would no longer exist as she looked for alternatives everywhere around the world. She dedicated 10 years of her life trying all substitutes and testing it for her own nostalgia of what once was the best part of the day. After many trials and errors, she finally felt like she could exactly replicate the taste and texture of the real, authentic italian food she always loved. But it wasn’t until she got her French and Italian friends to approve (non vegans), that she knew she was ready to share her recipes with the world.

Joined by her closest friends, she is now the leading force of the N.D.A Cuisine team, which stands for “No Dead Animals" and everyone is happily mission driven to feed healthy delicious food while also being earth conscious.
